  • Harissa Chicken with Chickpeas

Today on the blog I am sharing a new "one-pot" dinner recipe. This Harissa Chicken with Chickpeas recipe is my current favorite. It is packed with flavor from the Mina Harissa that I used. It is such an easy weeknight dinner to make. To start, you sear the chicken thighs to get the skin nice and crispy, remove the chicken then saute some onions and garlic. Next, you add in some tomato paste, the Mina Harissa, chicken broth, chickpeas, and the chicken. Finally, you pop it in the ...
  • Dal Tadka with Cumin Rice

My love for Indian food goes way back. I have my mom to thank for introducing Indian food to me at such a young age. We have been going to Indian restaurants ever since I was a little kid. I now like making Indian food just as much as I enjoy eating it. I am always experimenting with new Indian dishes in my kitchen. I have made homemade paneer cheese, roti bread, lamb vindaloos, and more. The thing that I love about Indian food is that it has so many dimensions of flavor. Every dish ...
  • Taco Salad With Adobo Skirt Steak

Let's talk about salad. By definition, a salad is a cold dish made up of a mixture of raw or cooked vegetables. So there are an endless amount of salads out there is the world. When you throw some adobo marinated skirt steak, avocado, tortilla chips, and cilantro lime dressing into a bowl of salad, I just simply can't resist. That is why when Danielle Renov, from Peas Love & Carrots, ...

I present to you one of my all time favorite soups, Matzo Ball Tortilla Soup. I just love this soup. It takes two already amazing things and puts them together into one big bowl of comfort food. I had already been a fan of Tortilla Soup, so when Manischewitz asked me to develop some recipes for them I knew what I had to do. I made some matzo balls using Manischewitz's amazing Matzo Ball Mix and added them into this already amazing soup recipe. It is literally an entire ...

  • Hawaiian Chicken Kababs

I created this recipe two years ago for my first gig at a passover hotel. I hand-made these kebabs for dinner for the 600+ guests. It was crazy! But also so fun cooking in a hotel kitchen. It was huge! It literately took up almost a whole level of the hotel. They were so popular that night, which was awesome. I knew I had come up with a great recipe. It's a kebab of chicken, peppers, onions, and pineapple soaked in a killer marinade! It's the perfect dish for Shabbos, ...
